Sorry, if I posted this question in the wrong place!
Recently, I bought a "GPS Tracker & SOS Communicator", for my 95 year-old father, who is suffering from dementia. :'(
Yet, I now learned that the device only works with the GPS firm's app which just runs on Android and IOS.
So, I installed an Oracle VM VirtualBox on my Windows 8.1 desktop.
My plan was to install Android 7, in the box, and then download the GPS company's app. I theorized that the app should then run, on my desktop. (I did something similar, to extend the life of a scanner, years ago - and it worked, for about 2 years!)
Yet, am I wrong for thinking that this would work, this time?
I don't own a cell phone, because I fear the cancer risk.
I have an android tablet, but that is tied up, doing something else.
I spent hours, this morning, trying to find where I can download the Android OS, but had no luck.
So, I would really appreciate some advice!
