Have you checked the data connection when these error messages appear?
Also, is this happening while you're trying to use your GPS or just always no matter what?
Try this before it makes you want to pull your hair out:
**Warning** This option will remove all saved information in your app. If you don't want to take this route I have listed another option below.
1. Go to settings (gear icon)
2. Select "Apps and notifications"
3. Select "See all apps"
4. Find your GPS app and select it.
5. Select "Storage"
6. Select "Clear data" and "Clear cache"
Second option:
1. Go to settings (gear icon)
2. Select "Apps and notifications"
3. Select "See all apps"
4. Find your GPS app and select it.
5. Select "Force Stop"
See if that helps the error messages. If you are still getting these error messages repeat steps 1-5 again but instead of hitting "force stop" select "Disable" instead.
This will stop your Maps GPS from working entirely. If using a GPS avidly and Maps isn't working try installing a different GPS app to use until Maps recieves another update.
If you are STILL receiving an error message after using another app give your carrier a call and explain your issue. They'll run tests to see if theres a problem with signal getting to your phone.
Hope this helps!
