Can i have negative colour with colour images?

I am visually impaired and use the negative colour and large text as its easier on my eyes. is there anyway to keep the colour images such as photos in colour rather than keep changing it back and fourth or is there a shortcut?

I'm not aware of a way to do this within the system, so here's a possible workaround. This app can do color inversion and batch processing. You could do a batch process to invert all of your photos, but of course this could take some time. They will then be restored to their original colors when the system does the global inversion to display them.
