How do I move all Contacts to the SIM?

Most phones these days don't support this capability, some don't even let you save locally on the device - forcing you to sync your contacts to your Google account (or Samsung, or Outlook or whatever). SIM cards don't contain much storage capacity these days, it would be difficult to fit most contact lists on one.
