    I mean like the first you get ur phone it's of course is the bat capacity written on the box but when it has age I want to know what is actual battery capacity.

    It does an ok job, but even it can only estimate. Plus, those estimates are influenced by charging habits. If you keep to the recommended 40-80% charge range, the app tends to show less than your actual capacity. If you do a full 0%-charging cutoff cycle (meaning not just to 100%, which isn't necessarily truly full), it'll be a lot more accurate but you also do a lot more harm to the battery.

    There isn't an app that can do controlled discharge load testing for capacity because of all the other variables going on with the phone's power demands. There is another user here that does have some stand alone hardware that he compared the app to and he says it's usually close enough.
