Keyboard control via #inputtype

Ok.. so the biggest drawback on my phone seems to be a single variable #inputtype When calling for user input, android uses #inputtype to continuosly swap multiple keyboards on the fly.

This feature is more of a drawback than anything. Generally I will try to type something into the URL to search, and the result looks like cats.on.trees. because while I wasnt looking, the spacebar shrunk to half its size, adding a period key to the right where I normally press the spacebar. Other keyboards add a .com key which also takes up valuable space on the keyboard, while changing the location of other keys

I am looking for full control over this variable. At the very least, I would like to modify Firefox to produce the same input type variable for all inputs. I would prefer to permanently freeze this variable or gain full control over it via andoid.

I have not seen even one keyboard app (I really dont want a keyboard app) which lets you modify which keyboards are used based on this variable.

As this involves all user input, I see this as an extremely important feature, where the lack of control causes sheer frustration along with millions of typos

Any ideas? I dont see this issue addressed anywhere. I will flash a chstom OS if needed, but I need to have user control over the user input variable. Thanks!
