I have two identical Galaxy C5 phones and one of it got a bug because of which it had to be factory reset. Upon start up, it recieved Android 7 update whereas the other is still running on Android 6 and in the software update it lists that it has the latest software installed. Any ideas why it is the case and how to upgrade the second phone (without factory reset)?

Why: Different phones are listed to be updated at different times. Until a phone is listed to be updated, it shows that it has the latest software installed. (That's to prevent everyone from trying to update at once and bringing the servers down.)

When: No one, even the manufacturer or carrier can tell that without digging through the database and making a few educated guesses.
