    Hello All,
I have a HTC Evo 4G and I can not get certain apps to update. They download perfectly fine and then they will not successfully install on the phone. It started with Angry Birds a while back and I just figured the app was too big or something and deleted it. Now its happening with apps I use on a regular basis. One in particular is Evernote. I keep Evernote on the SD card not the internal phone memory. I moved Evernote back to the phone and now it successfully updates and installs on my phone when its on the internal memory. Do I have to do this every time I want to update it or is there a what around this?
    Thanks for the help,
    Matt

Well, normally, the app should update to where it's installed. Note that a few, do not want to install to sd.

I suppose you are updating from the market, and not the app itself?

There are a couple things I would suggest. None of which are pleasant.

One, empty the market app cache. I would do this before all else.Or, you could empty the specific application cache. Then, try updating.

It seems, the market keeps a memory of where the app is installed.

Honestly, I have never encountered this.

I assume you use a stock rom, and are not rooted?
