Bring the phone to your carrier (if they're the ones who sent the update - otherwise contact LG) and ask them to please fix what they broke. (It's a liability issue, and you you end up having to sue them, they'll lose, have to replace the phone, have to pay for your time setting it up the way this one is set up, pay for your attorney, pay for your time and trouble suing - and they really don't want that. Even companies as large as AT&T and Verizon choose "fix or replace, your choice" as their first option.
