Trying to use old HTC Wildfire S as Security camera.
Had to delete/uninstall almost everything to get 22mb free space for the install of "Alfred".
That done, I keep getting told that Google Play Services is required to run "Alfred".
Play store was crashing when searching for Google Play Services, eventually succeeded in starting download only to be told no more disk space!
Nothing can be moved to SD Card so I just don't know what I can safely remove to make space!
    HELP!!!

If you open Apps, settings, show system apps, is Google play services there? If so, enable it. If not, you may need to be flashed. You also need more than 22mb free for the phone to work properly. Can you connect to a computer and delete things such as pics and videos and large files?

    Thanks methodman89.
Can't follow your route to "System Apps", pressing my "Settings" button lists the available options which don't include "Show System Apps".
Only "Applications", which has the following options:-
    "Unknown sources", which is ticked.
"Manage Applications", "Running Services", "Development" and "Storage Use".
Most of these take me to the same place which has four tabs: "Downloaded", "All", "On SD Card" and "Running".
The "Apps" are listed alphabetically but don't include one called specifically "Google Play Services", there are however several Google items:-
    "Backup Transport"
    "Calendar Sync"
    "Contacts Sync"
    "Partner Set Up"
    "Play Store"
    "Search"
    "Services Framework"
    ...but no "Play Services"
After every boot, I'm told that "Google Talk authentication failed"

Since first posting. I tried removing "Alfred" which freed up 70mb space and tried to download "Google Play Services" which says it is around 42mb, during install, I'm told there is not enough space!!
    Totaly and utterly confused.

If you somehow deleted gps, you will need professional help, unless you're familiar with sideloading off a pc for example.

As I reccall, when trying to make space, the only options when attempting to remove Google items was to "delete updates" which is what I might have done.

Is it possible to be instructed in how to "side load" this missing item?
