I have a Samsung galaxy amp 2 7.61 GB out of 8.0 GB and a SD card with 331 MB out of 24.9GB , literally a few times out of the day i get that running out of storage message, I am not sure what's up with my phone. I'm clearing cache and anything else, what's wrong?

    1. Downloads and apps go to internal storage, so forget the SD card.

    2. Out of that 8GB, at least 4GB, and closer to 8GB if you're running Nougat or Oreo, is being used by Android.

An 8GB phone was too small at the beginning of 2007. A 32GB phone is barely large enough now, and won't be in another year.
