Tried all the following steps to fix my issue but still no joy with my phone.
Performed a hard reset.
Performed a reboot with cache clean.
Performed a factory reset.
The screen does not seem to detect my initial attempts access the phone. It vibrates as I am touching the menu key but takes several (sometimes abouy 10 attempts to turn the screen on). It also sometimes shows a call and other times does not. The later causes me to not be able to answer calls. Even during calls when I remove the phone away from my ear and try to hang up the call the screen remains black and I can't end it. I have tried all settings in the phone. Any ideas anyone?
