Should I Upgrade My Phone?

Hi. I currently own a Sony XZ Premium & have had it for a year now. It still runs very speedy but I am getting tired of the bugs such as the WiFi signal dropping, disconnecting me from online games (I'm sure it's not my internet as my other phones worked fine, & my brother's current Samsung phone is fine too). Also, the 68% screen:body ratio is kind of trash like on iPhone level. However, if I were to upgrade my phone my budget would be around £450, as this thing cost me £550 just last year! Any thoughts on a phone that would be worth getting under that price? Or should I stick with my Sony for another few months? The LG G7 costs £420 on Amazon now. Would that be a good purchase?

Welcome to Android Central! Quick question about the wi-fi problem -- does this happen on any wi-fi network, or just your home network?
