For some reason the touchscreen is not working right. It seems like my touches are registering about an inch below where I actually touch and even then it only works part of the time.

It has been working fine for six months and then stopped working today.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Android Auto, Maps, Waze multiple times and cleared the cache.

Welcome to Android Central! I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum, since the former is intended for developers to promote their apps.

    Which device do you have?

I too am having this issue with my Samsung Note 9 and 2016 Chevy Colorado. Touches in all other apps work fine except for Maps.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you talking about the touchscreen on the car system, or on the phone?

Have you asked your dealer about this? Check with them to see if your MyLink firmware is up to date.
