Extension # for calls to a Business

Hi.
Is there a way to automatically connect to a certain extension when I call a business?
For example, when I call my wife's work number, I always have to enter the extension number after "it answers"....
Is there a way to do this automatically...
Even with Assistant??

I moved this from the Android Apps forum to the General Help forum, for more specific traffic.

You could add the extension to the phone number saved in the contact entry -- just separate the extension from the main phone number with 1 or 2 pause commands (typically a # or p).

Only if the company's phone system allows it to happen. The closest you can do is to include a wait in the contact number and act on the prompt when needed.

Have her call you from one of the rollover lines. Then when line 6 rings even though 1 through 5 aren't busy, you'll know who's calling. Used to work for me.
