    Is it possible for PC to directly see mobile phone's NFC reader in such way, that mobile phone's NFC reader would function in the same way as off-the-shelf stand-alone USB NFC reader?

    I want to use smart card for authentication purposes on PC via mobile phone's NFC reader.

    Nope. Only the phone's system can access it (it's a security thing). You can transfer data from the phone to the PC upon NFC action tags with an automation app like Tasker (probably needs root) BUT you can't transfer data directly from the NFC tag to the PC or use the reader from the PC (you can only do NFC to Phone, then action/copy/write from Phone to PC. This obviously would not transfer any encrypted/secure token or data).

    You could develop an app that could both read the NFC reader and communicate with a PC, but there's no way a PC could do it without an app. Something that uses

    Code:
         <intent-filter>
             <action android:name="android.nfc.action.DISCOVERED" />
         </intent-filter>
