Booted CM7 from SD Card on Nook Color - Now What?

**Warning: Total Noob Question**



So...I just installed CM7 on an SD card and booted my NC. Now what? All I get is the CM Recovery menu system. I do not want to root it, I can find instructions and vids for that, but I can't figure out what to do next to run Android off of the card. Any help much appreciated.

Not a Nook owner, but try this on for size....

Install CyanogenMod 7 Android 2.3 Gingerbread ROM on Nook Color

Thanks for that link, but unfortunately those instructions are for rooting the device, which I am trying to avoid at this time.

I will continue to play around with things in the meantime, but surfing for an answer via Google has proved fruitless so I figured I would try these forums.

Unless the NC is a different breed, almost all android devices require rooting of some sort before installing a custom ROM.

You might try a tablet specific forum from others who have done this with the NC.
