'failed to delete files

Everytime I try to delete or move photos from Samsung Galaxty device internal storage or the SD card it replies with 'failed to delete files' or 'failed to Move files' I have unmoumted and remounted the SD card. No luck. How can I rectify it forever rather than keep connecting the phone to the computer Everytime ? Please help.

Welcome to Android Central! Which file manager app are you using? What folder are you trying to move these files from?
