I want to have this touchable volume slider: https://i.imgur.com/01Y0UrE.png

to be usable in media apps, such as youtube. Right now, if I'm in a media app, I get this "mini" volume controller: https://i.imgur.com/7anQret.png

which does not allow you to adjust the volume with your finger. Thus, I lose the ability to finely adjust the volume as well as quickly increasing/decreasing the volume. I have to hold or press the volume up/down button which is slower.

Is there a way to have a volume slider in media?

No, but if you press a volume button you should get a slider and a meatball at the ottom. Tap the meatball and you have all 4 volume sliders.
