Hi everyone,
Hoping someone can help me here. We are having issues with both our Android phones thinking we are somewhere else.

We've just recently moved house to another place just a few streets over. It's literally a few hundred meters from the old place.
Both our android phones keep thinking we are at the old location when their screens turn off while they are on charge.
Our phones are a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and Samsung Galaxy S9.
This wouldn't be a problem, except I use ifttt, life360, and a few other things to run a bunch of home automation tasks, such as arming our alarm system, turning on the robot vacuum cleaner, etc when we leave home.

So far I've tried:
I've updated our address in Google maps.
Updating the address in life360 and other apps
Updated address on our Google home
Recalibrated gps
Flushed a-gps records on the phone using gps status (app)
Renamed our wifi ssid
Renamed our wifi and added _nomap to the end of the ssid

I'm running out of ideas on what to try. This has been going on for almost 2 months now and I'm at my wits end.

Anyone else had this issue and have some suggestions to try?

Cheers

I don't have a lot to offer, but does this location problem only appear in one app or all of them? For example, if you open Google Maps, is it reporting your location correctly? Is it just the location dot, or does it show the large translucent circle showing an approximation? If you travel further away, like across town or another city all together, is it still reporting a wrong location (if so, how far off is it)?

I am curious. Is there an actual problem due to the location being reported wrong? I thought most of that automation stuff you listed was network based and not really location based. I know with my garage door opener, I can communicate with it with no location settings active at all, or use it at another location with no update needed other than to make sure it's synced up to the app again.
