The navigation bar on my phone does not work. And Google is always popping up all over the place on my phone while I am trying to operate it. the main thing that is always going crazy is my keyboard when I am trying to type something. I have already done several factory reset I don't know what else to do I hope that somebody can help me.

If by "going crazy" you mean the screen is getting phantom touches and/or isn't responding to yours, then there's a hardware defect. It may be as simple as replacing the USB cable, replacing the screen assembly, or anything in between.

The phone is the ZTE maven 3 yes I am having a lot of problems with phantom touche it does what it wants to do when it wants to do it. I need to know how to fix this with out USB. In my current situation I cannot simply hook up to computer. also one of the main problems is Google is always popping up on the phone. And the keyboard doesn't always respond correctly.

Does this happen when unplugged? If not, and it only happens when plugged in, it is likely the USB cable needs to be replaced. If it happens even when unplugged, does it have a screen protector on as B. Diddy asked? If so, try removing it.

If neither of those two suggestions solves the problem, then it's a hardware defect within the phone and should be either exchanged under warranty or taken to a repair shop. Connecting it to a computer and trying software fixes isn't likely to help. The screen responds to the electrical impulses in your skin, so anything that disturbs that detection (a defective screen digitizer, some screen protectors, loose internal components, broken USB cable shielding, etc.) can cause erratic touch response like you're seeing.

There is one other possibility. If you live in a very dry/arid environment, that can interfere with things too. We see an increase in these sorts of complaints in the winter due to low humidity levels. If that happens to be your case, there isn't much you can do except try to increase the humidity levels.

thank you very much for all of your help. To answer your question no I did not have a screen protector on it and still do that. And It happens when it's not plugged up to a USB. Sounds to me like it must be the digitizer. But if that's the case why does it calm down and act better after I do a factory reset? It doesn't go away but it does act a lot better.

Does it also happen in Safe Mode? https://www.hardreset.info/devices/z...n-3/safe-mode/

Since it happens in Safe Mode, I'd suspect either corrupt firmware or faulty hardware. Is it still under warranty? If so, contact ZTE. Otherwise, bring it to a repair shop (or consider getting a new phone, since the cost of repair might be more than the value of the phone).

unfortunately as I explained to you before none of these are options for me in my current situation. Is there anything that you can tell me that might help the situation that I could do? Thank you

Unfortunately no. I've never heard of this being attributed to corrupted firmware, but a factory reset may fix it. Or it may not, depending on the extent of the corruption.

If it's a hardware defect, then it'll require a full diagnosis to pinpoint the problem. That means a teardown of the phone and checking over everything and knowing what to look for. Your average user, and even above average users wouldn't be able to do that.

You've been given the only feasible answers at this point, inconvenient as they may be in your situation.
