    Hi,
When I plug my note 9 (and my S5 before it) into the USB port on the charger/transformer from a Microsoft Surface, it beeps and flashes a little animation on the screen, and seems to charge intermittently.

Anyone seen this? Any idea why this happens? Just checked the tiny, tiny, tiny specs on the back of the power supply. It puts out 5 V at 1 amp through the USB. Is this current insufficient to charge the phone? If so (apart from the obvious) why would the power supply be rated too low to work?

This is the power supply: https://www.gadgets4geeks.com.au/65w-power-supply-charger-ac-adapter-microsoft-surface-book-pro-6-pro-5

    This is the behaviour: https://youtu.be/_p37_1V6r1g
