Getting Android on an iPod Touch

Hey everybody. I was thinking of jail-breaking my iTouch after the warranty ended but then I thought if it would be possible to somehow get Android on your iTouch. I've searched on Google but nothing of interest showed up.

There's an app in Cydia that installs an Android theme and I guess that would be great enough but is there somebody advanced out there that could actually port Android to the iPod? It's just a thought, I'm not interested in it but some replies would be nice.

There have been attempts that sorta worked on iphones (3g/3gs) but they were unstable and heavy battery drains. Dunno if the projects continued.
