Restart widget that was put to sleep

I kept getting msg that meclock widget was using a lot of my battery so I selected the option to put it asleep. Now I want it back on, I could not determine how to wake it up. I then forced it to stop. How do I get out of this situation?

Once you use the widget or it's app that wakes it back up.

For whatever reasons I could not just restart the widget. I uninstalled the widget, download from the play store, install, open the widget, changed a few settings, now it works. Tks
