I'm just browsing in the latest version of Samsung Internet. But then I discovered, the app data soared to 400 MB. It consumed my storage and I am very sensitive about it. It was at first 360 MB, but for reasons I don't know, it soared to 400. Apparently, cache has nothing to do with its data and I didn't do anything stupid to the app that made it bigger in size. I don't know how the app's data had escalated like this. I can't delete my browsing data because I'm far too sensitive about it, I don't want to lose all of it. I'm a little anxious about this situation. What can I do?

If a cache clear didn't help, there may not be much more that you can do. If you delete anything else like cookies, etc, you will have to sign in to all your sites again, and the cookie list will rebuild anyway. What device do you have?

An old model. A 2015 Samsung Galaxy J7 but with the Samsung Internet app upgraded to its latest version, seen in latest Galaxy smartphones.
