I have a Sony XZ Premium that I can't unlock

I went back to Vodafone UK to get my NUC for my old XZ Premium. It came back and didn't work. The IMEI is correct and I entered the NUC code correctly. I have been back to them three times with them promising to get a GID from Sony. Nobody has responded.

This is now beyond a joke. I used to unlock my own phones a few years back with software and a lead but can't find anything similar on the net.

I have two tries left to input the correct NUC. I don't want to brick the phone so need to get it right.

Is there any advice out there?

The only thing you can do is ask Vodafone for the unlock code - you don't have any other option. If you exceed the number of tries, you'll need the PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) - which you can get from the SIM card, if you kept the part that the piece you put into the phone came from, or you can get it from Vodafone.
