My 1st of what, I'm sure, will be many questions.
I am trying to tether my my touch 4g to my WiFi Asus Eee transformer pad. I am struggling with what apps I need on each device to accomplish this. The Asus is Honeycomb and of course the phone is droid.

Suggestions? TIA

There are several tethering apps for your phone, most of which T-Mobile will block you from downloading in the market. I know Verizon blocks everything so that you have either pay for a tethering plan and use their app or root your phone and sideload a tethering app such as Wireless Tether. A T-Mobile user can confirm or deny whether this goes for T-Mo as well.

You don't need to do anything to the Transformer. Just check the the available wireless networks and select "Android Tether" (at least that's what my Inc shows up as).

Thanks for all the tips. As I said, this is new to me.......and have discovered the mytouch4g is wifi hotspot capable, as is the transformer so it's actually quite easy. Simply turn on wifi hotspots on both devices......
As stated, I love my new toy.:p
Thanks again.
