I just compared my boy's Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to my Huawei P30 Pro.

P30 Pro easily wins, I'm no Audiophile but it seems more fuller while the Note 20 Ultra seemed flat. I'm comparing both to my Samsung USB mini stick which are majority of my tracks was purchased in Apple Music and Google Play.

I'm using the stock Music app on both.

Also compared it to my iPhone XR and not even close.

That's surprising, I thought the N20U had Bluetooth 5 and all the protocols for the best wireless audio. I'm sure the N20U sounds good enough but the P30 Pro is no slouch.

Something wrong....I have the Xr as work device and it pales compared to the Note 20

I kind of thought the P30 was a beast for audio, so this doesn't necessarily surprise me. But I thought the Samsung device would or *should have* performed efficiently.

Have you tried Poweramp? That's what I use on my S10+, and the sound is great with my FLAC files.

I always use the EQ if I can and set it to Rock.

My boy hates Bluetooth until I tested my phone in his Subaru. He was also shocked. He insist of using direct connection via Lightning cable but he will never buy it since he's an iPhone user.
