Something has gone wrong with Youtube's video slider.

I just used the YT app on my LG G7 for the first time in a few days and couldn't help but notice that the slider no longer moves whenever i randomly place my finger somewhere.

Instead, I have to place my finger and hold for around a second before the slider gets to that point.

Anyone else noticed this?

That article says it was to prevent accidental skips with brief unintentional touches to the screen. That makes sense to me -- will just take a bit of getting used to ...
