It's awesome as far as ux and design absolutely love the way everything looks, but desktop usability is much less... You can definitely tell that it's made for touchscreens and portable devices. Overall I don't love it, but I certainly don't hate it. I'll put it this way, if windows 7 was $50 and 8 was $80 I'd buy seven without even blinking.

Im thinking of upgrading it to 7 ive neglected the computer its got 3 gigs of ram and a pentium d @3.0 gigs and 4 l2 cache it was a vista first gen acer the other one i was looking at ran xp media center to put it in perspective

ouch that stinks man, i just built myself this pc earlier this year and its a freaking beast. all other computers seem terribly slow anymore, ive spoiled myself...

Dont have the extra$$ to invest in it i just came off of 3 months un employment im screwed
But if i had it i would get a top tiered haswell asus motherboard win7 64 bit nvidea graphix cards put it in an sli a nice case a blue ray drive possibly a 1000 +watt power supply a 200 gig ssd(for system only) and a terabyte drive for all of my programs (safer that way
