After the recent update of Google Play, Google apparently changed their policy regarding foreign credit cards. I live in Denmark and until now I haven't been able to purchase anything other than apps from the online Google Play store.

Today I tried my luck again and when I got to checkout I was able to add my VISA card without supplying an American address and phone number (which was previously required). I only had to put in a US zip code, that's it. And my order was completed! Now listening to Church in the Wild on my GNex. Awesome!

I'm still only able to access Movies, Magazines, Books and Music via a browser using a DNS service to circumvent region restrictions. No direct access to those parts of Google Play on my mobile devices. But after completing the purchases online, I am able to access the content on my phone and tablet.

Finally a way for us Europeans to dig into the Play store for content other than apps!
