It requires root, but my favorite is AdAway (use it on all my Android devices). I use it with the MVPS blocking hosts file to not only block ads but known malicious websites. Makes web browsing cleaner and faster and provides a layer of security.

Note: Google removed it from the Play Store, but you can get it from the dev here: ad-away - AdAway - Open source ad blocker for Android - Google Project Hosting

Otherwise, as to a regular app; BeWeather Pro. :)

Llama might be number one now... gives me total control and has done wonders for battery life. I think I finally have the perfect set of events now.

Second on my list is Swype. Without it, I am not sure how well I'd type I this thing.

Right now it is the new Android central app. This thing is awesome. Fast more features than the previous app

Falcon Pro. I find that it's the best Twitter app for Android right now. It just keeps getting better :)
