I was reading my daily dose of news and I while I was reading I saw an article on the Time's website regarding getting paid to use your smartphone.
Get Paid to Use Your Smartphone | TIME.com
Interesting article, to say the least. It turns your phone's lockscreen into a billboard of sorts and every time you unlock your phone you get paid a penny and up to 3 cents an hour providing local ads to your phone's lockscreen and it is only available on Android at the moment. It got me thinking, while this is a cool idea and you could rake in some cash over the course of a year.
Is it a threat to Google?
