    its been months now, everyday i see a mediaserver huge draining in nexus , htc one , s4 forums, is it that hard from solving this issue?

    solution is i must reboot to solve this drain, i hear a 4 min song then reboot wtf is this?

    this is 20-40 % percent drain for no reason ,.

    Have you followed any of the suggestions on how to fix it? I haven't had this problem since the week after buying mine back in February.

    yeah reboot it seems to fix it but if u open any music or video it return until reboot , look at GSAM battery monitor i got 20% drain only media server

    Rebooting is not what I am talking about. There are some things to turn off that fixes this. Like I said, I haven't had this problem since February. It's a non issue if you make some changes to what runs.

    im searching for days only solution with rebooting is the phone must be rooted which i dont wanna root my phone , i got htc one though

    I solved the problem by disabling currents on my Nexus 4. Setting / Apps / All / Scroll down till you get to currents. I disabled it.

    there is no currents in my htc one 4.2.2
