I'm headed to Europe for the next few months from the US (will be spending most of my time in Spain) and I'm looking for a budget priced Android below the $200 mark to use over the next couple of months. I currently have a Galaxy S3 on Sprint so as far as I know, without a SIM slot or international capabilities, the most I'll be able to get out of my GS3 is WiFi.
With that in mind, I'm looking for something that's cheap, reliable, and compatible with Android 4.0 at least (I cannot stand 2.3). Expandable memory is a must. So far, my research has pointed me in the direction of the Sony Xperia E Dual Sim, but I'm still wondering if this is the best choice. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm open to anything as long as it matches my sub $200 budget. I'd greatly appreciate your help!

I bought a AT&T Samsung captivate off eBay last year for exactly the same purpose for $145. I rooted it and flashed an ICS ROM and bit worked perfectly.

Try searching for "unlocked android" and you should find plenty of options for under $200 especially if you don't care about it being used.

A used Galaxy Nexus would work perfectly - and have 4.3!
