Internet Connection

Hi
Ive purchased a Samsung Galaxy ace 5830i

I bought the phone just for ringing and texting. Im on 02 pay and go. Somehow im getting charged for internet connection and is now costing me ?1 a day or more.
I don't use internet at all. Is there a way in settings to disable all connections to wireless and any Internet. Cant seem to find any setting to disable it.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings/Wireless/Mobile Networks, and make sure the Data Enabled box is unchecked. Mobile Data is what would be costing you money--wifi wouldn't cost you anything, assuming you're connected to your own home wifi network or a free public hotspot.

If you can't find that setting (and looking through your phone's manual, I'm not sure there actually is a menu setting that you can use to turn off Mobile Data), then try a 3rd party toggle app like Power Toggles.
