Broke the amoled screen of galaxy s4. What is the best thing for me to do?

The amoled screen/LCD screen (not sure which it is called) cracked, and the entire screen is black and the phone is now useless. It isn't covered under warranty (i was tapping furiously on one part of the screen during a game and it cracked) and I am not eligible for insurance. What is the best course of actions for me to do now? The only thing I can think of is to repair it at a mobile shop for $260-$300. Are there any other viable options for me to get this fixed for a lesser price?

They aren't selling the individual replacement any cheaper from warehouses, so I guess you should just suck up the repair price. samsung galaxy s4
