    Is it normal for Chrome to use 14%?

    Welcome to Android Central! It really depends on how much you were using it. 14% doesn't seem that much to me, if you were doing a moderate amount of web browsing.

    Chrome is kinda a battery hog. It is probably the most powerful browser on your phone though, so it makes sense. If you want something that function just as nice, i would recommend sideloading the aosp broswer apk, or downloading it from the play store.
