I have some cash for a Tablet. Should I get a Nexus 7 now or wait? Is the Nexus 7 the best android tablet to buy?

It really depends on what you're looking to do with it. Games? E-reading? Music and movies? Business/productivity? All-around functionality?

I'd say that overall, the 2013 N7 is a terrific device, and still the best value out there. But other tablets might be better depending on your needs.

Agreed. If you want one that can do anything and do them well, the Nexus 7 is awesome.
If you want one for reading, the Kindle Fire HDX is also really good.

2013 N7 all the way. The 2012 N7 would even be a decent choice, and a lot cheaper, but the 2013 version is so much faster and nicer-looking.

LG G-Pad is also something to consider--it's an 8" tablet, and there is a Google Play Edition, which eliminates most of the bloatware.

I assume you mean the new Google/Motorola, since the pre-Google Motorola did sell some relatively average tablets (the Xoom and Xyboard). I heard some rumors a while back about a Moto tablet, but not much since then. I imagine they're concentrating on phones first.

Then I guess a nexus 7 it is.

Update: I'm scared to get a Nexus 7 now, because I have been seeing some horror stories about warranties and dealing with ASUS customer service, so I am putting the Nexus 7 on the back burner for now.
