Need a new phone

Looking for a new phone since I broke my Moto G. Does anyone have any recommendations? Not that arsed about camera, prefer stock/close to stock Android. Is it worth waiting for the new Nexus or new Moto X? Or should I go for the Nexus 5 now? Don't want S5, M8. Also, is the Z2 compact coming out anytime soon? Cheers

I've still got mine since the broken part is the SIM reader so can't use it for texting/calling, but using it essentially as an iPod. Besides, I want a change.

I think both the Moto X and Nexus 5 are still great buys. If you want battery and slightly smaller screen then go with the X. Otherwise, I would recommend the Nexus 5.
