I have recently moved from iOS to an LG G3. The default mail app (which I use for work account) has a badge number showing number of unread emails. I use Mailbox for my gmail accounts and there is no badge number that I can find. Is there a way to get that on there? And for other apps also, such as Words with Friends?

Android, well Google in general stopped using it after 4.0 bc Apple filed a patent. There's icon badges in the play store tho.

The app MissedIt will actually do this. Its one of the few paid apps I have on my phone. This is a feature that should be baked into android IMO.
