Not a bad purchase if you're looking for a backup phone or a student on a budget.

The Nexus 4 is still a totally solid device if you can look past the unimpressive camera and poor battery life. I have to dial down the graphics on some games, but other than that it runs like a champ, with just the occasional stutter. I'm thinking of holding onto mine long enough to get my pick of the 64-bit devices coming in 2015.

8gb of storage (5 after firmware, and probably less with Lollipop) is a bit slim, though. I have the 16gb version.
