Should I switch from the HTC One M8 to the Moto X 2014?

I have a promo code to get $140 off a Moto X on Motorola's website. Should I switch my M8 to a Moto X? I use to have a Nexus 5 and loved it because of the feel and pure android experience. Is the Moto X pretty similar to it?

I don't see why not. If u enjoyed the nexus 5, it's pretty similar to the Moto x. The M8 is a good phone.

I have the M8 and my friend has the Moto X. I won't be switching. Not even close.

They're both amazing phones. Either would be fine. The Moto X is great because of the stock android feel, but the M8 also has some great features and feels great in hand. It's all up to whether you prefer HTC's Sense skin or stock android. Personally, I think both look great. I would have a very difficult time choosing because I love both phones.

I'm going to stay with the M8. I've heard too many bad things about the Moto X's camera and battery. I've never know a Motorola device to have a good camera anyway.
