I am looking for a stable and safe app to protect my privacy on my Samsung. I want to keep my private photos or files from others. What do you guys recommend? I would like it light and fast, not specifically like a antivirus or booster.

A lock screen. If they can't unlock the phone, they can't see the pictures.

If you want to really make them private, an encryption program, and encrypt each one, so even if they can get the files, they're just junk. But you'll have to decrypt each file before you can see it.

It can be easy and semi-secure or very secure and a pain, but it can't be easy and very secure. (The easier it is for you to get to the picture, the easier it is for others to get to it.)

Try Hi-Lock app Lets you lock any app you want so you can lock all your apps which have pics also you get a cool widget to make it easy to unlock all apps and lock them again, I use it for gallery, google pics and dropbox Drive and es-file apps once I use widget to unlock it also unlocks all apps so if I'm sharing files I don't need to unlock each app individual and all you do is tap widget and apps lock again

Trying out the Lockdown Pro as the following screenshots below depicts (in this instance I chose 4 different ones that requires a PIN to access):

Posted via the Android Central App

Seems to work just fine since I can pick which ones I want to lockdown were I to "loan" my SGN.IV to someone even for a short period of time. Took me a little time to fiddle/faddle with it until I was able to grasp the concept of Lockdown Pro.

Enjoy!

I just set up the lock screen I think it is enough for privacy. You can also setup the encryption in your phone settings but I don't think it will protect your phone from downloading your data using USB cable.
