I'm sure this question has been raised before, so I apologize for a repeat. But what the heck does it mean when my WiFi or signal strength have a ! next to them? At one point this morning my Motorola XPE (on AT&T) had no ! but my Droid Turbo did.

That exclamation mark means that your phone can't connect with Google servers. It could be because your connection (WiFi or mobile) isn't working, there's a problem on Google side or just a temporary glitch. Try switching your connection off and back on.

Yup I did that and the ! went away. Oddly enough, my Internet still worked with the exclamation point. Thanks for the response.

Funny. I'm having the same issue right now on my X Play! Maybe some problem on Google side because my WiFi connection is working fine.

I see this often with public WiFi where you need to bring up a web browser and accept the terms and conditions of the WiFi access.
