haha alright, we know one is missing, but why?

So there's 4 choices for what's missing (duh lol):
1. AT&T- This one would make the most sense, since the generic version has AT&T bands anyway, so they could slap a logo on it and sell it, but there's no way another carrier would pick a name so close to ATT.

2. T-mobile- This would be everyones first choice, but the carrier-specific versions were probably worked out way before the deal came out. (I almost wish T-mobile got the Attain, just for the cruel irony).

3. Sprint- They seem to be pushing the whole Evo thing, so maybe Sprint doesn't want to release another high-end phone. They may also be getting one with a keyboard that'll get filed later (not sure why, but it's possible).

4. Verizon- Not likely, but they are getting a bunch of phones over the next few months, so maybe they just didn't think they needed it.

That makes sense, but AT&T always renames their phones (Inspire instead of Desire HD, Thrill 4G instead of Optimus 3D, Tilt 2 instead of Touch Pro 2).

Maybe they will just keep it as the Galaxy S II or maybe instead of Samsung trademarking the name AT&T will.

This is possible. Maybe they will just release the same phone, even without a logo, like they did with the Atrix.

ran across this here in site pretty interesting and perhaps the fascinates may get some souped up a tad more..

Samsung has released the Google Android 2.2 Froyo source for the Telus Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate variant and is available to download from the Samsung Open Source Release Center.

The Telus Fascinate has received its Froyo update just before last Christmas despite the fact that is should have been rolled-out in 2011, according to the roadmap. Anyways, it's there, free to download; just search for the string "SGH-T959D" and, regardless if you just want to take a look, play around or you're interested in third party ROM development, grab the source and do your thing!

Not to crush your hopes, but the Telus Fascinate is basically a Vibrant. It only shares the name with the Verizon Fascinate.

So just realized...all these names have "Galaxy" in front of them. None of the original 4 did. Maybe these are completely different phones.

Well from the style of the phones T-mobile was the closest looking to the original GS so maybe they will be the ones getting the name GS II ... Or sprint is the one thats not listed due to the fact that they have the Epic name and will release there version after the EVO3D so theres no need for it yet to be snet to the FCC.. just my2 cents

That's what I was kinda thinking, maybe they are not as high end phones such as something like the Galaxy A or Samsung Galaxy Spica. Just a thought.

Probably, although we haven't seen any of those here (I think the Galaxy Indulge is the only one). Or maybe they're trying something new. Guess we'll just have to wait and see :p
