Need suggestions for a Verizon Phone

Is there a phone out there that is smaller (in physical size), closer to the size of the Galaxy 7, but more reasonably priced?

I was looking at the Moto Z Play, it is needed for work and the physical size of the phone is too big to carry around comfortably while being able to work on equipment.

What am I missing? It can be an unlocked phone too, I don't know much about those.

Look at the lg g5. I think it's smaller but because if it's screen to body ratio, it appears to be bigger.

I've always used Samsung and Moto.....with my best experience being Moto Turbo 2. The moto phones in my experience are much faster with better screens. Not that Sammy has bad screens, they are brilliant. The Moto is just the right color levels and super snappy UI.

I had the HTC 8 and liked it. I've seen good reports for the HTC 10 as well. I'm using the Note 5 and it is quite a nice phone. Having the pen capability is quite useful.
