Force GPU Rendering. Yay or nay?

Does anyone still use this option? I know in the past it was sometimes recommended as a way to improve performance.

I forced it and it seemed to help the Note 7's input lag, although what really did it was clearing the clipboard. If I leave that aside, I didn't see any noticeable effect of forcing the GPU, performance or battery wise.

I use it in my Note4, I use a mix of Power Saving - Immediately and Force GPU Rendering, keeps performance great.

Having a clipboard seems to increase my input lag as well a bit.

Not that it matters at this point haha But yeah, it seems the more items you have in your clipboard, the laggier typing becomes.

It's a bit of a weird issue but alas I'm not copying and pasting a ton of things all the time so I'm not too concerned.
