    Apparently, Apple iPhone 4's and 3GS with the June 2010 update are keeping a log file of the users location that is backed up on whatever computer the phone is synced to and makes it that much easier to get that information Apple users.

    Seems Android is doing the same thing on rooted phones and which can install 3rd-party apps. On Android the data is dumped after "12 hours for cellular data and 48 hours for WiFi data".

    It's not just the iPhone, Android stores your location data, too
