Watered down camera pictures.

Hey guys,

I wanted to get some feedback on something I noticed with my ZTE Blade Spark with a 13mp camera (or so it's claimed.)

When in camera mode I get these incredibly detailed and crisp pictures of close up objects, but the picture that is taken is always of far less quality and detailed than the image that is seen in camera mode.

Is it possible that the cameras are intentionally watered down for supply and demand reasons or is it something far more sinister?

Thanks for the feedback.

Hey there!,
Try going into your settings / Apps / Camera / Storage and clear the Cache/Data. This might fix it. you can also check your settings within the camera app to make sure its set to 13mp. Sometimes phones come shipped defaulted at a lower resolution for smaller files.

Hope this helps!

Close ups are far more susceptible to hand shake causing motion blur, this may be the issue. Particularly in challenging lighting, as the shutter speed will drop too.
